Israel attacked Iranian bases in Syria the other week (claimed they were launching drones that were flying near their airspace), yesterday Iran responded by attacking Israeli assets in Syria, last night Israel attacked more Iranian bases in Syria.
My guess is Israel will refuse to admit they started it and play the victim, and it will go back and forth until Iran fails to respond (or all out war between the two erupts but that's unlikely).
