This is what happens a lot of time when an area is so strongly controlled by one side (either side).  The moderates are considered traitors and the extremists fight it out to see who can be the most extreme.

Here in Tennessee we had State Legislators calling for the impeachment of our REPUBLICAN Governor because he appointed a Muslim to head a State Department.

I agree for the most part, unless the felony is for a charge relating to drugs like cannabis or other psychedelics. But violent & sexual crime? Absolutely, offer them no sanctuary.
