I'll see if I can find it. It was on NPR; so it was most likely a specialist in the field . They had a long special on suicide rates. For instance the same person said only 3 places in the US last year had a higher homicide rate than suicide rate: Louisiana, Maryland, and DC. She also talked about a spike in suicides after a high profile suicide. So I doubt there was any political bias, but just in case: What do you want to bet?
