Well, this is partly correct.

A- The dossier was originally contracted on behalf of conservative efforts. It was also later funded by Clinton. Neither one really detracts from the validity of anything inside, but the assumption that it was some discredit attempt by the left is as erroneous as saying it was entirely an attempt by the right.

Truth is, neither side wanted Trump and his pro-Russia agenda.

B- Fake, no. Unproven, yes.

Honestly, if there was no validity to it, why does Trump think Comey was trying to blackmail him?

If someone came to me and said "Hey, Benton, I have a fake file that says you paid Russian hookers to piss on you, but there's no receipts, no photos and no testimony. Still, you owe me a favor." then I'm going to laugh at that moron. You can't blackmail someone with something that doesn't exist.
