Couldn't possibly have been when you said that dealing directly with foreign spies in secret meetings is exactly the same as hiring a US corporation to do legitimate research.

If EXXON made a secret depsoit of $1 million directly in Trump's personal account to get him to veto a bill then his sycophants would say "He is just taking campaign donations like every other candidate. Hillary is the crook!"
