I get that.

There are several scenarios laid out.

One would be him as a backup to Andy.

The other a backup to a possibly drafted QB.

At any rate if he doesn't start he adds nice insurance value and could possibly be a bridge if he does.

I knew it wouldn't be a popular premise.

I just don't want the team to pay a high contract for an almost lateral move at QB if they were to move Dalton
