I'm sure the right is writing more about her now.  They see a potential opportunity and are running with it.  It may work or it may fail, but it's perfectly logical.  

She ran against an experienced Republican and won.  She was part of it.

Look at the graph linked above.  They were writing about her before the election too because they thought their experienced guy could win.   Now they're ticked off because she won and doesn't back down from them when they go after her.
