They were writing about her before the election because it was already a done deal.  

I stand corrected on the vote in her election.  I remembered it as a democratic seat but that she was portrayed as inexperienced so a bit of an upset for her.

Although I suppose that makes it worse that "the right" is so obsessed with someone who won a district almost any Democrat could win?
