I should note, this is slimey, but not actual perjury from my point of view. Just so we are clear.
That seems to be the general consensus. Barr has an out on the way the question was asked and that he answered it "truthfully".
It does, however, add to the narrative that Barr was nominated and put in to protect Trump.
