A human life may begin as a fertilized egg, but a fertilized egg is not even close to what people call a "child". You are using a very subjective definition of "child".
Q: "What type of child has no head, body, limbs, skin, bones, blood, brain, or organs?"
A: "A pro-life child."
The quote you cited states "life" begins at conception. Call it what you will, but it's a human life. It is not subjective.
