I think with our current linebacker situation being the worst in the nfl by a large margin providing no real depth i think your out of ur mind to completely dismiss even a workout of a former top 10 pick. Pacman had 1 good year in dallas before we took him in. His off field issues along with an injury was also an issue for pacman prior to coming here. IMO only difference between Mclain and pac is the age and the absence. Rolando had a pretty damn good season when he had the 100 tackles. pac came here and played really well. why not see if we can get the same thing from mcclain who plays a position of desperate need here in cinci? I dont think rolando will come here and be our saving grace at all but he could provide good depth and possibly play for a large portion of snaps if he plays well. again it wont take much to stick out and play better than our current starters. Ill say it agian ur out of ur mind with our current linebacker situation to not atleast workout a former top 10 pick whos trying to make a comeback. bottom line.
