Right. But the problem with admitting this is that some (mostly conservative) people would then have to face the fact that their church accepts the science behind climate change, something that Faux News and their other brainwashers have taught them they can never accept. And as usual, their political brainwashing trumps their religious brainwashing, so the Pope loses.
It's not news that the Catholic church is against gay marriage, nor is it news that they believe a lot of untrue crap about the world they live in.
