There's more truth in your statement then many would like to admit, nihilistic though it is. After watching last night I just can't fathom the need for the Dems to out "woke" each other. Biden literally stated that non-violent criminals should not be incarcerated. Burglaries, auto theft and shop lifting would absolutely skyrocket. It's insane what I'm seeing from them. It's like they actually want Trump to win again.
