"Gun control" limiting anything is kind of like man-made climate change....it's great political propaganda but in practice will have negligible impact because when the rubber meets the road even pandering politicians aren't going to make stupid policy.
And while intelligent people know gun control is going nowhere, that doesn't stop politicians from buying votes fear mongering the issue, on both the left and right.
