If you're going to assign individual rights to a single celled zygote which supersede the individual rights of the parent then you need to do the same with a single celled gamete.  But, you don't because of your religious beliefs and not because of any sort of rational scientific information.  If that is your belief, fine.  Live your life according to your belief.  Let other people live their lives according to their beliefs.  (Unless you want to face murder charges for wearing a condom.)

Gametes ARE a part of the life cycle, but they are not a stage of human development. They also have not and will not EVER develop into an adult human on their own. This isn't that complicated, but considering you want the option of killing an innocent human being, it's no wonder you'll make up stuff like a sperm cell will somehow become an adult human all on its own.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've gotta drop off all 8 billion of my kids to my wife.
