Actually, Neb, There is quite a bit of "intelligent discourse," if by that one means rational and evidence-based political discussion carried on by people who carefully vet their sources.

Both on this message board and in the national news there are people who publicly push back against "unhinged."

Thank heaven. When that stops, the nation stops functioning.

There is indeed "finger pointing" which has gotten worse. But we are still a ways from "everyone" doing that.
