I will admit, without entirely joking, that there was a time I was so stressed out and miserable with my life that I may have actually be more than willing to attack and/or kill someone if I had the justifiable chance to do so but I've really done a lot to get my life and mind in order since then.
I'm with you on that. It's just as simple, to me, as saying that I value human life more than any property. My property is not worth the loss of my life or the life of anyone else.
