Joe Biden also made history as the highest ranking official in the executive branch to call for the legalization of gay marriage. You can talk about him not changing because he was in politics for 4 decades, but the reality is he was a major part of an incredibly progressive administration and he showed a willingness to advocate for major change when others would not. You can further look to his campaign, including his desire to embrace ideas of his progressive opponents, despite having already won the nomination, and his focus on bringing in fresh voices, essentially marketing himself as a means to rid the world of the destructive policies of Donald Trump and usher in new faces for change.

I understand that it's easier to say something simple-minded and mock the fact that he isn't a good public speaker, but you're posting those things in a forum frequented by people who actually do look at the nuances of politics rather than jumping on whatever clickbait headline is shared.
