All I really want is people to spell it out and not politicize it. I don't want pork in any bills. I appreciate Obama tried to do something with it, but just be honest about it. Obama care meant that my deposits went up and my allowable visits went down. And the jerk who wrote it got muzzled after he said everyone was too dumb to read it. It is easy to say, like Bernie did...everyone should get it free...but then not fully explain how it's paid for. So I don't want to sound cruel or anything but we cant just open borders and give it free to people...i'd rather that money goes to the needy people in our own country.
Obamacare was meant to provide basic coverage as a safety net for the uninsured. It was never intended to replace employer sponsored health insurance or Medicare. At most, it tried to expand Medicaid so people could avoid Obamacare policies. But, most (if not all) Republican controlled states voted to block the Medicaid expansion. Apparently, Republicans would rather people have no health insurance rather than basic, minimal coverage.
