Kidneys, livers, sperm, oocytes all possess "human life", but they are not "human beings", they are merely parts of a "human being".
So there you have it, once we have a zygote, it is now a human being. Call it what you want after that point (Blob of cells, or any other stage of development), but fact is, it's now officially a human being.
