So what you touch on here is the issue of "personhood." This is the crux upon which abortion laws tend to rely. As of right now, under the law, the unborn are not "living human beings." They are not people under the law. They have no birth certificate, no SSN, no document that identifies them as an individual with rights. Unless that changes, then it is 100% a matter of what a woman does with her own body.
