Let me repeat myself just so everyone understands.

The Chinese travel ban did not ban travel from China because it was not about stopping the spread of the virus. Instead it was an attempt to blame China for the damage instead of his own failure. That is also why he calls it the "Chinee Flu".

So the Chinese travel ban was a xenophobic move instead of a serious attempt to actually control the spread of the virus.
