We Can Still Punt For Penei

People are down on Justin Fields right now (myself included), but we shouldn't rule out QB until we see how Fields does against Alabama.
Also, Zach Wilson is continuing to build steam. He just threw for 425 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs in his bowl game. His PFF rating this year is higher than Joe Burrow's was last year (95.5 vs 94.9).
So even if Fields isn't the guy, Wilson could be. And if the Bengals do miss out on Penei, a team may be REALLY interested in trading with the Bengals to take Wilson or Fields, especially with CAR picking at 4. One might think CAR isn't interested in a QB, but Bridgewater is only signed through 2022 and only has a dead cap of $5 mill in 2022. As such, CAR could look to take a QB to sit behind Bridgewater for a year then have him take over in 2022.
