They flip to being the martyrs/victims so fast it makes your head spin.
This is my thing, each chamber has a role in overseeing the security. There is a Sergeant-at Arms from each chamber that is put forth by the majority party leadership. These two individuals sit on a board that oversees the operations of the PD. Other oversight is conducted by committees in both the House and the Senate. Anyone who tries to lay any mistakes the Capitol PD made at the feet of one party is just trying to avoid their side holding any blame. They are acting in bad faith and should not be listened to. Period.
