That's not a disparagement of the military past or present.  That's just dotting you i's and crossing your t's when it comes to security.

Of course it is, because Biden's doing it.  The percentage of citizens who are veterans is around 8%.  Enlisted personal heavily trend conservative.  I don't think the 20% number you cite is all that high or surprising.  But I guess we can't trust conservative leaning people to adhere to their oath to the Constitution, can we?  The McCarthy-esque atmosphere in DC and the media is really disturbing.
