So one of Trump's arguments is (paraphrasing) he has a 1A right to say what he said and the government can't prosecute him over it...which is what impeachment is (basically) the government prosecuting him.
Another argument is that his speech on 1/6 didn't cause the riot because the people came there ready to riot. (This ignores him telling them to come there and his constant stream of lies that riled them up in the first place.)
Anyone buying either or both of those arguments?
