Party lines will keep Trump from getting convicted, so i think the Democrat strategy is to convince anyone who has any sort of objectivity that Trump isn't fit for freedom and then watch as he, still elligible for office, spends the next 4 years drawing Republican votes into the wastebasket that is the Patriot party.
Enabling Trump hasn't paid off, so I expect Trump to repay Republicans letting him off the hook a secomd time to be rewarded with a 4 year plan to cannibalize their party.
