But let's not make any presumptions.
The police can't pin any illegal activity on him. Those guns are high end types, which isn't conducive to gun running for any illegal enterprise. In general terms, criminals want cheap(er) weapons. Plus they were all registered under his name, last I read. That's not conducive to gun running either. The guy had a spotless record save a concealed carry charge that was dismissed. Most criminals have some sort of record because they all start out bumbling, for the most part.
The high profile lawyer says ( paraphrasing ) 'this guys story seems unbelievable but every where we turn, it's collaborated by facts and evidence'.
