Question about mccarron
#4
McCarron is and will probably always be a backup baring catastrophic injury to whoever is the starting QB.  Can anybody seriously say he would have fared any better than Andy behind our Oline all season? I could say it, but not without laughing the entire time.
The notion that there are more teams other than Cleveland willing to cough up high round draft picks for him is plain silly and the only reason Cleveland was considering it was because of Hue. If anyone else was serious about McCarron it would have been plastered all over this forum every day.
This doesn't mean he won't go elsewhere and make hay from a new team, but for now the only mention of him getting traded for a high pick has been with Cleveland and inside a few people's imaginations. Imaginary draft picks don't typically turn into super bowl titles except in imaginations..

Chicago sounds rough to the maker of verse, but the one comfort we have is Cincinnati sounds worse. ~Oliver Wendal Holmes Sr.
