Jared Goff sat until week 9, but that was with one of the most worthless coaches in the NFL, Jeff Fisher.

Jameis Winston, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Sam Bradford, and Matt Stafford all started right away.  

Five of the six started week 1.  The sixth started right away with a new head coach and had success.  

Carson Wentz went #2 overall, started right away and was very good.  And he came from North Dakota State.

If the Browns decide to be "stupid", they would be in good company.
