No doubt. I get that Chad had some marks against him late in his career, but do we ever get over that and just appreciate the 11,000 yards and helping bring the Bengals back to relevancy?

Some do appreciate Chad, but it feels the general consensus around Cincy is one of disdain. 

Then again, Cincy fans have always been a fickle bunch. Kenny, Palmer, Dalton, Chad, Housh, Pickens, Dillon, Justin Smith, Votto, Dat Dude BP, Griff Jr etc have all been hated in that city at different points. Seems you need a stellar career, no injuries and to leave on great terms to get universal love from Cincy fans. Problem is, even most of the greats can't claim all of the above.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
