Definitely not this season because you have multiple QBs over 9 YPA which is incredibly impressive. Passing attacks have blown up. However, Brady has had some big seasons where it was applauded. Namely, 2007 and 2011.
As important in what context? They’re both equally important and feed off each other in my eyes. They’re both major stats. YPA tells more of the story than completion percentage does, but neither of them are all encompassing stats.
