I don't find anything wrong with it. Pay the man what he is worth. Really simple really.

There won't be a holdout with the new CBA, Mixon will get zero count zero if he holds out.

It is not forcing MB's hand, it is just saying, hey man, what about me?

Mixon only being paid 1.2 mil per year says a lot, he should be paid at least like a middle tier RB.

Or at least better than his teammate who averaged 3.2 YPC last year.
