Before Maverick goes up when he leaves his wingman to go get Viper, a pilot says "hey Maverick, did you hear about Ice? He won another one," but then, when Maverick and Goose are in the locker room after, Goose says "at least Viper got Ice before he got us."

Am I wrong?

Am I the only one that notices these things?
