If the music was interfering with anyone's ability to shop then it should stop. But I don't see how it was a problem.
So you prefer people that force everyone else to do what they want. By blasting their music in a place its not needed or appropriate they are thinking they control the public space and everyone has to follow their rules or listen to their crappy music in this case...
