Elliot has cold weather experience much more than Gonzalez does. Has a great record at short distance kicks and PATs. His percentage isn't the highest all-tolled, but thats purely due to one season of poor play.

In all honesty, I'm not fussed about the kickoffs. People act like they all have to be touchbacks, but that's nonsense. Most kick returns don't make the 25 yard line, so if we're making other teams field kickoffs then let them, they'll likely have worse field position.

I totally disagree....a smallish kicker in a cold weather city is just dumb....especially when there's a much better one still on the board....
   now the browns will convert 50+ yrd kicks while we punt.....not smart football imo...
