I had a similar feeling at the end of the movie, but I like the mulligan they let everyone take. Sure, it was stretching the wall of believably how the last fight came about, but it gave them a true chance for 'Earth versus Thanos Part 2.' And after the movie was over and I had time to think about it, if you go straight from IW to Endgame as just one whole movie, I think it will work better.
