Marvin wouldve definitely benched him after the drop. In fact he wouldve been benched after the first drop most likely which wouldve negated his first TD as well and potentially his entire day of production. ZT is smart enough to be patient and recognize the potential payoff if you let a guy like Ross work it out on the field and make him a real part of the game plan.

Ross missed all of training camp too. That couldve contributed to his drops. He's technically still shaking off the rust.
