Hard to forget that. But that government also nominates conservative judges, the only thing standing in the way of the US becoming an authoritarian liberal hellhole, so overall all is good.
What makes me wonder still is how at least a big state like California would have fewer ressources then a small middle European country. Or Virginia for that matter. This is not a real complicated app.
