AFAIR, 2 are in BC and the rest are in Ontario and Quebec (EDIT* finding out about LL, then I guess there is one in Alberta as well!) (as they were Upper/Lower Canada, respectively... basically lol and that was where the colonisers spent the first 150-200 or so years in the country, before heading west), which makes sense, but IMO, Notre Dame in Montreal is the only classic architectural building in Canada, that is worth visiting (not a castle, obviously). Casa Loma is considered one of the, "Canadian Castles," and it is really just a big house and tourist trap; basically, if you're expecting castles like in Europe, you will be very disappointed

I see that the hotel at Lake Louise is considered one of said castles; it is truly a majestic place and I LOVED the brief moments I spent inside (renting skates and sitting down in the lobby/foyer, waiting for my wife to get out of the washroom), as I have never spent any time in a high-class hotel in my life, but it too is inundated with tourists and the lake is better to look at anyways

And yes; you will need to go cross-country to see all of them, thus unless you plan on flying a lot or spending a full month here, it's too much to do
