We are all pretty confident that the rumored assistant coaches not currently employed are probably ready to sign as soon as ZT is named HC.

Why hasn't Washington or Oakland started looking for replacements at QBC and OLC? If the rumors are true, you'd think they'd want to get on with it and settle their coaching staffs.

I wouldn't think they'd be patiently waiting for the Bengals. Washington has no reason not to announce Callahan won't be back.

Just a thought to keep an eye on in the next couple days (after a 2nd interview maybe). If Washington or Oakland (or even Philly with Press) start making moves at those coaching positions, then you can start inking these rumored assistant coaches in.

This is the time teams have their staffs set. I don't see them willingly waiting until Feb to have to replace these coaches.
Searches for lower level coaches don't tend to make it past local news if even then. The Redskins just hired a special teams coach and there was nothing in the Washington Post until the hire.
