And the trainers and the player need to be aware of potential symptoms. Combine heat, exertion, and altitude then you may have a problem. It caused a sickling crisis in Ryan Clark in Denver and he had his spleen and gallbladder removed. He was able to play again, but as a precaution didn’t play in Denver again.
Covid 19 can cause clots which is not a good combination with a medical condition that can do the same.

But, I have to imagine the decision to play with sickle cell trait and the risk of Covid 19 would certainly make one think twice about the risk.

Here's what I have found to be the best combination through extensive research:
-1 part hydroxychloroquine
-1 part Scrubbing Bubbles
-A Heaping tablespoon of cayene pepper
-2 Jolly Ranchers
-16 oz of water mixed with 3 squirts of Mio Rasberry Lemonade.
Give it a shot, and see if it works. It can't hurt. But whatever you do, do NOT drink it after midnight!!!!

Having a newborn in the house seems to be a theme so far. We obviously have very little information on anyone with high-risk family members. Geno Atkins has sickle trait which puts him at high risk. Other players likely have type 2 diabetes or asthma. Those big bodies on the OL and DL are more prone to blood clots.
so what do you think....will we see any Bengal opt out
