Someone still has to disengage and take him. Even if they blitz more than you have blockers, you take the guys up the middle and let any outside rushers free because it takes longer to get to the QB. There should be no situation where a rusher comes untouched up the middle. That is the worst situation that can happen for a QB.
I think that false start put them back where they felt they had to pass. Penalty helped kill that drive.
