You know he made a site? I stumbled upon years ago. Can't remember if it was when the old board was running or this one. He claimed he was posters xyz... Some of the names he claimed to be are still members here. I'm sure he isn't a few of the members I can remember he claimed to be. Anyway... The site was pretty ****** up.

I actually liked that dude though. There was another spin off board probably 10 years ago that had a chat box. He always seemed alright to me in those interactions.

Yes it was. There was definitely some carry over with the trolls and wackiness that went on at the mothership, but we eventually got our bearings, and things have been very peaceful for 4+ years now.

you talking about the guy that had multiple accounts claiming it was all part of a social experient he was running?  Rumble cat? was one of his names i think.   (had that tiger with the sword pic or something i had it saved on my work pc at my last job  sadly lost to time now)

I am sure he is still here under some other name (or names).  He was The Scales or something like that over on Go-Bengals.com

He was a very intelligent guy, but he thought he was doing something amazing by fooling everyone with all these fake accounts.  The fact is that most people are like me and don't spend any time really thinking if someone on the internet really is who they claim to be.  It is easy to trick people when they have no reason to try and figure out if you are lying or not.  It is not like he was taking people for money or anything.

I will say that I had a ton of laughs on another board he started for a while.  There were a few of us form here and several of his fake accounts.  It was crazy.

Right? Anyone could wreck a board if that's what tickles them. Not that hard to fake things on the internet. Says less about the intelligence of the people you're fooling and more about the sickness that motivates you to find joy in that.

I was on the other boards I think you're talking about. It had an arcade and a chat room that was usually open. Joe from Flo supposedly joined and spilled the beans on there, but I didn't believe half of what I read in that place.

This was a very strange time on the message boards. Just some random dude trying (sometimes successfully) to punk all the other posters. It was solid entertainment for a while, and like bfine said, he claimed to be secretly running dozens of accounts, some of which are still posting in this thread.

The spin-off board that was created from the OG Klotch forum was kinda epic.

In all seriousness, idk how harmless it was. It was a giant distraction on the old boards for awhile and had people questioning who was real or fake. I even wondered if it contributed to 34 closing the boards down because he didn't want to deal with that nonsense anymore. They did shut it down not long after.
