OH
Um. No clue. Never heard of him.
So much for having confidence in Smith & Prince.
This draft is going south.
Watched Volson kick Montana State defenders ass in the FCS Title game. He can move folks!
I am out.
Another massive reach.
Ravens taking guys projected to go way earlier most of this draft.
Bengals taking guys projected to go a round or two later.
Copy and paste from CBS draft tracker:
Quote:Strengths:
Versatility to play guard or tackle. Does a nice job adjusting his hands once engaged. Does not quit on a play. Strong upper body. Good independent hand usage. Controlled into pass protection. Works well in combo blocks and is capable of working to the second level.
Weaknesses:
Lateral lean in pass protection leaves him susceptible to counters. Played in a run-heavy offense and has not faced many high-end edge rushers.
Accolades:
2021: All-Missouri Valley conference first team
Played in NDSU-record 65 games and started 41 consecutive games
I love Cordell Volson He's really nasty. He hates people for real

This guy won't play OT he's a guard in the NFL.

He projects as a guard. Our current guards are Carman, Cappa, Adeniji with Smith likely getting more looks at tackle. Need depth and he is that.
Never heard of this guy. We'll see how it goes. Bengals seem to have a different board from media scouts past the 2nd round.
He will play guard would be my guess
Not a fan of tall guards. Poor leverage and pad level. A fact we don't seem to get.
I think we overrate versatility. I'd rather have a guy that is good at one thing than mediocre at two.
Yeah I don’t have high hopes for anyone from the 4th round on. I like our first 3 picks and think the top two for sure will be solid for us. When we draft this late if we can get 2 or 3 future starters that’s pretty good. You never know on the late picks if one of them will pan out. I wouldn’t mind a punter at some point coming up, but we could re-sign Huber too. He’s been good.
