It's no different than a kickoff. Recover it in the field of play, it will be your ball at that spot. Recover it in the end zone, it will be 6 points for you. Don't recover it, and it is a touch back. It is a live ball, going out the back of the end zone, aka a touch back.
But it's not a kickoff and it should be different.
Bottom line, I see it as unfair and you don't, so there we are.

Historically it went to the 20. They just never changed the location when it occurs as a turnover as opposed to a free kick. But even if it goes to the 25, it goes to the other team.
