I love that Zac said he solely made the decisions to fire who he did. Makes me feel better about his leadership as a HC.

Also, just have to say, thanks for the Amarius vid Pally. THIS guy gives me immense hope for the future and is a great talent for
our new OL coach to work with. Nothing against Pollack, but he couldn't develop OL at all. Carman as inconsistent as he was had
talent, he just didn't have heart. Volson has heart, but he doesn't seem to have the talent.

We need our IOL to be much better this next season.

Volson, like Cappa, was pretty limited athletically.
Not only do you see these two getting bullied to bull rush, but they especially get beat on stunts and quick moves that require them to react quickly and on the fly.

I am not sure how much the scheme will entail, but it probably wouldn't hurt to bring on more athletic OL.

Let’s hope they give the next guy much better to work with.

Billy Price
Jonah Williams
Hakeem Adeniji
Jackson Carman
D’Ante Smith
Cordell Volson
Armarius Mims

I’m not sure even Bill Callahan or Dante Scarnecchia could have developed most of those guys.

Not even Spags could make a secondary composed of Geno Stone, CTB and Josh Newton work. Lou's going to be the sacrifical lamb, but the idiot ruining this team is safe and he won't be fired not matter what. Tobin is the one who should be fired.

Thank you Lou.

Agree and lets  be honest we go to SB in playoff run more because of Lou''s defense than offense

We definitely shouldn’t have to settle for our 5th choice this time.

Even this crow I'm eating tastes, not bad

No doubt on Pollack, he had a pretty good established line or multiple high picks in Dallas, since then Has not move the needle a d most FAs have played worse  with us.. im sure Joe is happy after avg 49 sacks under Pollack
Duke is the real problem as I see it. Is it fired yet?

Lou is still a good DC , he has proved that but needed to move on, now we need to see get a veteran DC  to replace him
When did Lou prove that.Their defense, has been in the bottom third of the league.Every year,he was in Cincinnati. Most of those years.Twenty fifth or worse.

Im hoping for a D coach thats willing to use and develop young talent and to switch to more of a speed rusher type of edge players VS the sam hubbard types

You're surprised that three coaches involved with a bottom 5 defense were canned, but you want to can the guy responsible for a 6th ranked offense? Dafuq?

Agree. He is the defacto GM.He should have been let go to.
It couldn't really get any worse at both spots a new vision is absolutely justified and needed. Great job!
Zac said during the press conference that they will make the hires as soon as possible, and that the decision to fire Anarumo, Polock and the other coaches was made after the season ending. It seemed to me Zac personally wanted Lou and Polock fired.

Yup. When he became the OL Coach for the Cowboys, they already had 2 1st Team All-Pros (both future HoFers) and 1 2nd Team All-Pro (who would be a future HoFer if a serious medical condition didn't make him retire young) on that OL.

That's actually why I am not super bullish on Ben Johnson like some are. I wonder how he'd be as an HC/OC if he didn't have quite so much talent.

I'd say that's about right. If they improve the defense and you still miss out?? You gotta get going too.

Al Golden is winning games for Notre Dame. I wouldn't mind that hire at all.

I think this is Joe Burrow’s doing more than Zac Taylor’s doing; if Tee Higgins remains a Bengal then I’ll know Burrow has the Front Office’s ears.
