Gary Nolan vs rookie pitcher Rick Reuschel
Curt Gowdy and Tony Kubek with the play by play

If they were smart they would consider PPD tonight and have a DH tomorrow. Too much rain closing in and wouldn't make sense to start only to play a couple of innings. Both teams are off Thursday and don't have to travel far. Reds to Philly and Sox to Washington.
That’s the 2nd wild throw by McLain in 2 days
Game should be cancelled anytime now.
And there it is. Game suspended and will resume at 2:30pm tomorrow.

Except this greatly can affect the attendance, as not everyone who paid for a ticket for the normal scheduled date/time will be able to attend the new date/time.
And then usually the normal scheduled game time could get affected too, thereby potentially impacting some fans for that one as well.
That can also obviously impact revenue because of a lack of attendance.

Easy for us watching from home to want it PPD though, as we're far less impacted.
