Uh, no they do not. The WR screens and short throws are all released much faster than the deep throws. Anyone who watches the games can see this.
It is absurd to claim that everythrow Dalton makes is released in exactly the same time.

Try this next time you watch a football game.
Look at a stopwatch when a QB throws a wr screen or quick hitch or slant. The ball will often leave his hand in less than a second.
Now look at the stopwatch when a qb takes a seven step drop and make his reads to throw a deep ball. It will take a lot longer for the ball to leave his hand than when he throws an immediate QB screen or quick slant.

We're talking about an average. Many times he has to wait or scramble to throw the ball. Some short throws might take 4 seconds. W'ERE TALKING ABOUT AVERAGE TIME TO THROW. PUT A STOP WATCH ON IT . DONT JUST TALK OUT OF YOUR ASS.
The math even shows the time for short throws is the same.

Yes. Thank God we started Livings or 2010 could've been a real disaster.

In the famous words "well the Bengals were a better team that year that most here give them credit for"

You laugh, but without Livings, those 10 straight losses could've easily been 11 or 12.
He really saved our season.
