I don't see how a tendency to throw after a first down run equals "sucking".

The lower amount of passing attempts seemed to be good for Burrow in more ways then just one...

Running game helps everything this team struggled with last year.

- Less passes mean less chances for Burrow injury
- better run/pass mix makes the job easier for Oline
- keeps defense more fresh late in the game

Marvin's teams were built to not embarrass. They weren't built to win.

ZT may not be a great coach, but he's trying to rebuild a super s****y roster. It's going to take time.

3 years in the NFL is an eternity. It’s now or never. Especially when he’s be given more help in FA then his predecessor could have ever dreamed of.

3 years is not an eternity, that only gives a coach a couple of drafts. But yes, this is his make or break season. He needs at least 9 wins, preferably 10,  which is my prediction.

Yes it is. Teams can literally go from last place to Super Bowl contenders in that time frame.

So much for that.

They can do that in a year. In fact, the Bengals have done that. But 3 years for a new coaching regime to turn things around is pretty much the standard.
